Cypriot Costumes
This publication coincided with the exhibition titled “The World of Cyprus at the Dawn of the Twentieth Century,” a collaborative effort between the National Historical Museum and the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, running from November 1999 to January 2000. Within ithe pages of this book, readers will find insightful texts covering the political landscape of Cyprus during the early 1900s, the notable Cypriot Exhibition of 1901, and an exploration of Cypriot attire from the turn of the nineteenth century. Additionally, the volume provides a detailed showcase of the exhibited costumes and individual dress items.
